During the BUT Film Festival, Albert Pyun's latest movie Road to Hell will be shown. This movie is best described as a work of love. Pyun started making this movie back in 2008, and even now Pyun is still finetuning his project. Even more proof of Pyun's hardworking nature and the character of this unique movie maker!
Road to Hell is best described as a sequel, or better yet an hommage to 1984's Streets of Fire. Albert is big fan of the movie and has had many a discussion with wife Cynthia Curnan about the end of the movie. Albert finds the story romantic, while Cynthia finds the ending tragic. An accidental meeting with Michael Pare led to the sequel Road to Hell. For a long time, Pare has had the intention to work with Pyun, and an hommage to a movie they both love proved to be an fantastic opportunity.
Pare once again takes on the role of Cody and is searching for salvation. He is stuck in a world with two paths. One leads to damnation, the other to salvation. He finds it in his childhood love and her daughter. Ellen, Codys daughter (played by Roxy Gunn) hates her real father and does not want to see him. Faith leads them towards each other and Cody knows with road to take.
